Kaley is my 3rd cousin, and I’m already in love. I took Kim and Rob’s “We’re Expecting!” Photos to surprise their family, so I was the first family member who knew Kaley was on her way. Later, I took their Maternity Session with Rob’s daughter Kayla, and then we waited for Kaley to make her grand entrance.

When she was 3 days old, my parents and I went to visit – and I just happened to bring my camera.  We decided to wait a few weeks to get the official photo session.

Less than 2 weeks later, I spent about 4 hours with Kaley for her first official photo session, and as much moving and posing as we did, she never full on cried. She got agitated a few times, but calmed down immediately. She’s so precious!

So cute!

The following photo is one I had dreamed of doing for a long time, I even sent it to Kim a few months earlier, hoping she’d like it, and she did.  I created the chalkboard, and decided to make a time-lapse video while I drew it.
